Xcessories Squared to Double Size of Auburn Facility
Groundbreaking took place May 23
Xcessories Squared broke ground on its new facility expansion on May 23 at 11:30 a.m. at 7350 W. St. Rt. 104 in Auburn.
“Because our business continues to grow, we’re adding a new 95,613-sq.-ft. facility in Auburn, which will more than double our current footprint,” said Xcessories Squared President Matt Leahy. “This added space will give our team the room they need for more efficient workflow.”
The new construction is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that will connect several existing buildings into one facility. The additional square footage will help Xcessories Squared improve inventory management, provide more space for manufacturing, and allow for improved processes for shipping and distribution. The company is also adding a new breakroom/restroom and production office, a 90’ Clear Span 10 Ton overhead crane, new machine pads, and several overhead doors.
After the groundbreaking event, Xcessories Squared had a celebratory luncheon with employees.
