AASHTO & FHWA
All of our products are manufactured to AASHTO and FHWA requirements.
AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) is a non-profit organization that represents highway and transportation departments in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation. The agency provides financial and technical assistance to state and local governments to ensure that America’s roads and highways stay among the safest in the world.
Task Force 13
For over 30 years, Xcessories Squared has been involved with Task Force 13, a national organization that develops, recommends, and promotes standards and specifications for bridge and roadside hardware used on the National Highway System.

For nearly 10 years, Xcessories Squared has participated with the National Academy of Engineering Transportation Research Board Roadside Safety Committee, a national organization that reviews, discusses, and pursues the development and evaluation of forgiving highway roadsides through countermeasures, safety hardware, and features to reduce the number and severity of roadway departure crashes.
